1. Overview of the Service

SayToWords provides AI-powered tools for speech-to-text transcription, translation, and summarization.

Users can upload or record audio, which is then processed using automated AI models to generate text-based results.

The Service is provided as a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform. Free and paid plans may be offered. Pricing, billing terms, and refund conditions are described on our Pricing page and in the Refund Policy below.

2. Eligibility and Account Use

• You must be at least 18 years old or have legal capacity under your local law to use the Service.
• You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials and for all activities under your account.

3. User Content and Data Processing

• You retain ownership of any audio files, text, or other content ("User Content") you upload to the Service.
• By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to process and store the content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.
• We may use aggregated and anonymized data from your usage to improve our AI models and enhance service quality.
• You must ensure that you have the necessary rights and permissions for all content you upload.

4. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use SayToWords to:

• Upload or share illegal, harmful, or copyrighted material without permission;
• Use the Service to violate privacy, intellectual property, or data protection laws;
• Reverse-engineer, copy, or attempt to extract our models or source code;
• Use bots or automated tools to overload or disrupt the platform;
• Interfere with other users or the operation of the Service.

5. Accuracy and Limitations

• AI transcription and translation results are generated automatically and may contain errors.
• SayToWords does not guarantee 100% accuracy, and you are responsible for reviewing results before use.
• We are not liable for decisions made or actions taken based on transcribed or translated content.

6. Service Availability and Changes

• We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time, with or without notice.
• We are not responsible for any data loss or service interruptions caused by maintenance, technical issues, or other factors.

7. Intellectual Property

• All intellectual property rights in the Service (including software, design, and AI models) are owned by SayToWords or its licensors.
• You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without prior written consent.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without any warranties, express or implied.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free performance, or suitability for any specific purpose.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SayToWords and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, store, and protect your personal data.

By using SayToWords, you acknowledge that your information may be processed in accordance with that policy.

11. Termination

• We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or engage in misuse.
• Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases.

12. Refund Policy

Paid subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed through our authorized payment providers. By completing a purchase, you authorize us and our payment partners to charge the selected payment method.

Refunds are handled as follows:

• No refund after use: If you have already used a purchased subscription or one-time plan in any way—including consuming tokens, processing audio or video files, or otherwise accessing paid Service features—no refund will be provided for that purchase.
• Refund before use: If a paid plan has not yet taken effect or has not been used in any way, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase.
• How to request: Email [email protected] with your account email, order details, and the reason for your request. We will review whether the plan has been used before processing a refund.
• Refund processing: Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method where possible. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider.
• Refund eligibility may also depend on applicable local consumer protection laws and the policies of our payment providers.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
